The biggest week in Heroes is finally here! Heroes 2.0 has finally been released to the public and I couldn’t be more excited. So let’s dive in and take a look at all the news this week.
►Heroes of the Storm 2.0 went live this Wednesday along with all the exciting updates and changes which have been complied into the launch notes here.
►Ready your Dragon Blade and make sure you don’t need healing cause everyone’s favourite cyborg ninja is here to defend his ancestral home. Genji hits the Nexus and along with his home, Hanamura. Blizzard has put together an over of his abilities here.
►With the release of Heroes 2.0 Blizzard has given each player a 100 gems in game for free to purchase Mega Bundles. These bungles consist of 20 heroes that players will unlock upon purchase and are broken down into four categories; Assassin, Flex, Support & Specialist and Tank & Bruisers. Blizzard has listed which heroes come in each bundle and have made a handy little quiz for those who find it hard to decide which to choose.
►This Sunday is the ANZ Season 2 HGC Championships! Nomia, Morton’s List, TrumpSports and PPPPP will be fighting for their chance to represent their country on the international stage at the East meets West mid year brawl and a share of a $20000 prizepool. Tune into Blizzard ANZ Twitch channel this Sunday!
►The Nexus Challenge is back and bigger than ever. Nexus Challenge 2.0 kicked off with the launch of Heroes 2.0 and comes with a month of weekly challenges. This month’s quest chain will unlock in game goodies for Heroes of the Storm and Overwatch and kicks off with a sweet Oni Genji bundle for both games. Between April 26th and May 2nd play 5 matches with friends to start your Nexus Challenge quest chain. You can scope out the rewards for this month here.
►Heroes Brawl of the Week is Special Delivery. Ever get that feeling of Déjà Vu, twenty times? Play as Tracer in this week’s Brawl and Tracer On to take out the enemy core. View the rules and rewards here.
